Criteria for honorary membership:

An honorary member may be appointed to a person who, through his or her work and commitment over a number of years, has made a special or extraordinary effort for the benefit of Sørbymagle IF and its members.

It may be based on a period of having exhibited a major or special infraction from one or more of the criteria below:

• Demonstrated a long-term interest in the life of the association.

• Have been or are a prominent personality in Sørbymagle IF.

• Have represented the association in a dignified manner.

• Have worked at a leadership level (or been a member) for an unusually long period of time.

• Through his efforts, he has left his mark on the history of the association.

• Has done exceptional volunteer work at the club.

• Nominations for honorary membership may come from club members or department boards.

In addition to these criteria, persons who have provided the club with special goodwill or favor through our association may be appointed.

The board of directors considers all nominations once a year so that the honor/appointment can be made at the next general meeting.

A person who has been appointed an honorary member of the association will be exempt from dues.
